The FitState Engine: a sophisticated adaptive system, with no guesswork. It follows the same rules every time, so nothing changes at random. When your day changes, FitState adapts your workout to it and tells you why. You can still swap exercises yourself or build your own workouts.
A small team that has trained through busy weeks and bad nights for decades, with more than ten years of software engineering behind the app. We built FitState because we wanted it ourselves: a plan that changes with the day, instead of one we had to fix by hand.
Yes. Tell FitState which joint hurts: shoulder, elbow, wrist, neck, lower back, hip, knee or ankle. Every exercise that strains it is swapped for one that works the same muscles and spares that joint. In pain or feeling sick today? Say so in your daily check-in and today becomes a rest day. If a doctor or physiotherapist has given you limits, follow those first.
During setup, FitState asks if you’re pregnant or recently gave birth, have a heart condition, had surgery in the last six months, or were told to see a doctor before exercising. If any apply, FitState never makes a day harder because you feel good, and weights only go up after several comfortable workouts at the same weight. FitState isn’t medical advice, so check with your doctor before you start and follow their limits.
Yes. FitState asks how much you’ve trained, then picks exercises and starting weights for your level. Exercises come with a short demo and step-by-step instructions. Workouts can be as short as 10 minutes, on as few as one day a week. Coming back after a break? There’s a goal for that too.
None. You can train with just your bodyweight. Have more? Choose dumbbells, a full gym, or select exactly what you own, and every exercise is picked to match. If your equipment changes, update it and your plan is rebuilt around it.
Your health details are used for one thing: building your plan. FitState asks your permission before any health question. We never sell your data or use it for ads. Your injuries, sleep, soreness, age, height and weight are never sent to the tools we use to see how the app is used. You can delete your account and all your data from Settings at any time. Your waitlist email is only used for our launch email.
